This four-layer insulated cover fits a portable air conditioner exhaust hose to reduce heat transfer from the hose into a room.
Its layered construction limits radiant heat and can help the air conditioner cool the room more efficiently.
Features
Four Layer Insulation: A composite of aluminum film and foam with an additional functional layer limits radiant heat.
It is suited to sunny bedrooms or home offices and can reduce the hose surface temperature while the air conditioner cools the room.
Adjustable Modular Length: A main sleeve and removable extension provide a stated overall length of approximately 127 to 131 cm.
The cover is described for standard hoses approximately 12.7 or 15 cm in diameter and for layouts with higher casement windows or longer hose runs.
Elastic Drawstring Installation: Elastic openings at both ends slip over the hose and tighten without tools.
The fitted cover can move between rooms with the hose; wipe its dust-resistant surface with a damp cloth for routine cleaning.
Light and Flexible Protection: Despite its four-layer build, the sleeve bends with the hose without bunching to preserve airflow around furniture or angled runs.
It can also reduce mechanical strain at the air conditioner connection.
Cooling Efficiency and Two Parts: By limiting radiant heat entering the room, the sleeve supports indoor temperature control.
The package includes one main cover and one extension for home, office or dormitory use.
